Praises

God is a faithful and loving father! He is always with us with his arms around us! So this Post is dedicated to all the praises people may have about how the Father has answered prayers and showed his love and grace upon them! Like it says in James 5:13 "Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing Praise!" So lets sing some praises!!!

Prayer Requests

Psalm 55:22 tells us to cast our cares upon the Lord and he will sustain us. God longs for His children come calling to him for help so that he can lift them up and sustain them. So we as the body want to help lift each other up to God and interecede for one another like Christ intercedes for us. James 5:16 tells us to confess our sins to one another and pray for each other, so that is what we want to do here!

Right Now God

Right now God
I’m just not feelin’ that into it.
I feel tired.
My body aches
I’m worn out
I worked 3 hours today
I’m bummed
Everybody went home
I’m sitting in a dirty lounge trying to do homework
My testimony
But I’m just not feelin’ that into it right now

Faith is for times like these
You don’t know
Or understand
You just believe
And hang on
Not able to see anything in the mist
Except Christ
A faint illumination piercing the darkness
Faith is for times like these
Right now God

Encouragement

Through all the pain, illusion, disillusionment, and superficiality of life, we must not lose the divine spark, the characteristics of the image of the Almighty God in which we were made. All those things that make us "human," instead of animals are really those things in which we most closely resemble His perfect character. Whenever we are sincere, caring, loving, faithful, passionate about things worth being passionate about, whenever we do what is right because it is right, no matter what the consequences, this is not the characteristic of a human but of God. It is God working through us, for we are not capable of these things ourselves. This is not a reason for despondency about our condition, but rather for hope! We have no good in ourselves besides God, but He has promised to change our lives if we allow Him to! Life will not always be a perfect Spring day, but it can be a journey in which we are never alone, and are continually becoming more like the image of the God we were made in the image of, the humans we were meant to be.

Needs

The book of Acts speaks of a time when the Church was one. It speaks of a Church that was loving, caring, and united instead of the the judgemental, broken, disfunctional family the Church is now. Instead of being an image of the kingdom that Christ spoke of while he was here, it has become the complete opposite. The key thing that we want to focus on restoring about the church is the fact that today there are members of the Church that are alone and in need. Acts spoke of a church that stepped up to the plate and helped one another so that no one was in need or alone, and this is our vision. The purpose of this portion of the blog, is for those who are in need. We want people to be willing to come to the body when in need and be comfortable enough ask for help. It can be something as simple as a ride to wawa or an escort to class, and it can be something more serious like money for school or a home to stay at. We hope that the body will step up and truly care for one another. So if anyone is need of something just email me at domorethanjustwatch@gmail.com and I will post it! I love all of you and we hope that our hearts can start to beat in harmony with each other's and with the Father's!

Prayer and Intercession

A group of us have been talking lately and we have become really convictied about the disconnection within the body of Christ. After spending much time diving into the word we have come to the conclusion that one of the reasons for this disconnection is the lack of prayer and intercession for and with one another. Taking a look through the New Testament and seeing how the early church was so connected and one, you see that one of the key ingrediants that held them together was the fact they would constantly pray and intercede for one another. So we made this post in order to help bring the body back to the way God intended it to be. So the purpose of this part of the blog is so that members of the body can come here and share something that they may be dealing with in life so that the body can lift them up and intercede for each other! Encouragement/Testimony

Throughout Paul's letters and pretty much the entire New Testament, the writers give testimony of what God has done or is doing in their lives in order to give the people receiving the letters encouragement and guidence. So the purpose of this part of the blog is pretty much to do the same thing. We hope for people to be willing to share what God is doing or has done in their lives in order to bring encouragement to one another in our journey with the Father. It doesn't have to be anything huge, God could just put a passage on your heart that day and you want to share it with people. So again if you have something you would like to share, email it to me at Domorethanjustwatch@gmail.com and I will post if for yall! Love you guys!
